Malolatic fermentation carried out in new Allier oak barrels.

Age of Barrels: the barrel ageing was processed in new Allier oak barrels during the first 8 months, followed by 12 months in Allier oak used barrels (2 years).

Barrel ageing: 20 months

Ruby red colour, bright and intense.

This 2012 Reserva Especial has aromas of black berries, plum, licorice and a lot of minerality intermixed with the tertiary notes coming from its long aging in barrel.

Its great purity in the mouth shows an extraordinary flavour of red and fresh fruit, and a great texture in the middle-mouth with a perfect balance and a long, complex and fruity finish.

It is a very pleasant wine to drink, with a great potential of aging in bottle.
